That being said, I thought I'd share a tip for those of you who agree with me.
1) To swith Google Image Search back to the basic version, conduct any image search and scroll down to the bottom of the page. There you will find a link that will switch you back to the basic version:

2) Rather than having to do that every time you are using Google Image Search, bookmark the page. You will then have quick access to a mush faster Google Image Search without loading all of the new scripts, bells and whistles.
